Not very resistant to cold. It is sown in autumn in regions with mild winter, in spring in colder regions.
Can be sown alonefor green forage or hay (in this case should be mown before the full bloom) or for silo (in this case must be mown in the end of flowering); or it can be used in the formation of partnerships to lawn autumn – spring with other legumes or gramineae, to increase the protein intake.
